Late Night Roundup: ‘The Debating Game’

Tonight’s Republican debate on CNN was a big topic on last night’s comedy talk shows.

Jimmy Fallon presented a game show: “The Debating Game.”

CNN moderator Jake Tapper sat down with Jimmy Kimmel, to talk about what he’s doing to prepare for it. Kimmel asked: “Would you consider it an amazing success if one candidate were to punch another candidate tomorrow night?”

Stephen Colbert offered a sneak preview from the hottest sci-fi adventure franchise right now: “The Hungry For Power Games.”

Seth Meyers gave his own appraisal of how the candidates are doing: “Times are tough for anyone who doesn’t have a monogrammed helicopter, which should make tomorrow night great: a bunch of desperate candidates trying to out-Trump Trump. They’ll be trying everything out there. We might even get the full nudity that Jeb only teased us with.”

Conan O’Brien showed a trailer for a new biopic: “Trump: In His Own Words.” And every single line of dialogue here from Donald Trump — as played by Jack McBrayer — is a genuine quote from The Donald himself.
